Naomi Mauda, 19, OBM

Horrific tragedy: Naomi Mauda, a 19-year- old seminary student in Israel, was killed in a train accident in Kfar Chabad.

Naomi Mauda, a student of Bais Rivkah Seminary in Kfar Chabad, Israel, was killed in a train accident on Monday, 24 Cheshvan, 5778.

She was 19.

Naomi was the daughter of Yair Mauda, one of the directors of Chabad in Netanya, Israel.

Her mother, Revital Efrat Mauda OBM, passed away 9 years ago at the age of 35 after a long illness, leaving behind 6 children.

Naomi was a beloved friend and an exemplary student at Bais Rivkah Seminary in Kfar Chabad Beis, Israel.

Naomi was killed in a horrific train accident in Kfar Chabad, which is still under investigation.

Her family has suffered through many tragedies, having lost her grandmother, her aunt, and her sister, who was 6 years old at the time, in a car accident 15 years ago.

Her father, Rabbi Mauda, is a Shliach in Chabad of Netanya, who is known for his dedication to his Shlichus work and as a dedicated Hatzalah volunteer.

She is survived by her father, Rabbi Yair Mauda and siblings Chani, Shmulik, Sholom, Menucha and Levi.

The levaya will take place today, Tuesday, at 2 pm at Shikun Chabad in Netanya and burial in Rosh Haayin Cemetery in Israel.

Baruch Dayan Ha'emes.

Trains pass through the train station with full speed
Everybody who waits at that train station knows from what I am talking about. Not a big investigation is needed, its just super dangerous to wait on the platform at all. BDE!!!

Just looking at this picture. I am a man. Look deeply into this picture and consider the hurt and pain people are going through in their lives and consider that before dealing with others..You can save a life or Gd forbid kill a life.

Life is Precious
Take The Time
- Mordechai Ben David

Listen and you'll learn my son
For you the world has just begun
Still before you know it
You may turn around see that life has passed you by
Hear and heed the things I say
Think about them everyday
Make of every minute what you see when you begin it or it passes by

Make the time for things that count
Cherish the friends that you find
Think three times before you shout
Always remember to be kind
Listen close when children speak
Treasure the things that they know
The toys and tears of younger years
Carry the wisdom when they go

Buddy can you spare a dime
Sorry but I ain't got time
Daddy can you study please
Sorry son but don't you see I can't today
Little things that come and go
Slip away before we know
The handles of the clock advance
And we who beg for second chances must obey

Take the time to do things right
Always believe what you say
Ask yourself each morning and night
Who am I closer with today

Speak to Hashem with an open heart
There isn't a shoulder so wide
There's never been a better time to start
And nothing more foolish than your pride.

Listen and you'll learn my son
For you the world has just begun
Still before you know it
You may turn around see that life has passed you by
Every moment is so dear
Time just doesn't stop to care
Swiftly as a shadow
In a moment as we turn around it passes by

So take your time, do things right
Always believe what you say
Ask yourself each morning and night
Who am I closer with today
Speak to Hashem with an open heart
There isn't a shoulder so wide
There's never been a better time to start
And nothing more foolish than your pride.

I knew this girl from a very young age and was by them before their mother passed away.
She has had amazing support and always said she wanted to give nachas to her mother, get married and build a home
So please before saying such things please put some thought into it
Also I myself was a student in seminary in kfar chabad the train station there is very dangerous and hope that more security measures will be taken

So terribly tragic and sad!!
Only Ha Shem can truly comfort them! But we, all of Am Yisroel must now stand together as one strong unit and be of help to each other, see the good in each other, no more fights amongst one another!
In that zchut, may Mishiach be revealed and come now!!

its too much to take in, to much to hear, I know Noami from school... what a cheerful and bubbly girl she was, always joking. it cant be real... she was so kind, making sure everyone around her was happy. Friends... one can never ever know whats happening within.
Today by the Levaya her father spoke, he loved her so much... He thanked Hashem for leaving him with such amazing children after taking his wife and 2 Daughters... Then he begged Hashem to forgive her, not to judge her..
how strong he must be...

Just...wow.
I was in Kfar yesterday, it was very quiet & depressed. I hardly saw anyone on the streets.

Speculation is cruel and unnecessary. Her devastated friends, who saw what happened, must be suffering too. Does #7 & the rest of you armchair analysts think you have the right to "guess" what happened?

You should be ashamed of yourselves. Whatever happened is not our business: all we should be busy with is our pain that yet another beautiful young neshama was snatched from us. To her family and friends... there are no words to give you the comfort you crave.

In loving memory of her mother ob"m
I remember being hosted one Friday night when I was in seminary in Eretz Yisroel over 20 years ago. She and her husband made such an impact on me that it resonates with me every Friday night as I prepare my Shabbos table on shlichus on the other side of the world! May the merit of these beautiful souls bring geulah to the entire world!!!
